COVID-19 Emergency Resources
CME/MOC Available
Free online curriculum provides guidance to help physicians begin or expand the use of telemedicine, including an educational module on how to interact with patients, perform visits, and conduct appropriate physical examinations through virtual video visits. It also includes timely information about patient care during pandemics and public health crises.
- Links to free on-demand videos on topics including supporting the mental health of students and educators during COVID-19, how to quickly convert your live course into an online course, and how to use Osmosis to support distance learning.
- A free CME course on the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and pathology of COVID-19, and practical clinical skills healthcare workers can learn to remain safe when treating patients.
The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated drastic changes in medical education. To help family medicine faculty continue to provide quality education to residents and students, while at the same time being attentive to patients and communities, STFM has aggregated resources identified by members and staff.
This resource collection was built in response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s significant impact on the teaching and learning of health professionals. Designed by diverse educators, this working collection features clinical learning experiences, which can be readily used or easily adapted for specific, local settings, without the need for physical patient contact.
