OSID's Summer Enrichment Programs encourage people from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in science, healthcare, and beyond.
AIM
The Apprenticeship in Medicine (AIM) program provides carefully selected Milwaukee area high school students who are members of historically disadvantaged and underrepresented groups in the health science professions with a meaningful experience to stimulate their interest in careers in medicine, biomedical research, and allied health. AIM emphasizes academic preparation, achievement and career awareness.

The Research Opportunity for Academic Development in Science (ROADS) program provides carefully selected Milwaukee area high school students who are members of historically disadvantaged and underrepresented groups in the health sciences professions with a meaningful experience in a research laboratory setting to stimulate their interest in careers in medicine, biomedical research, and science.

The Diversity Summer Health-Related Research Education Program (DSHREP) is a competitive program designed to provide research opportunities for undergraduate students from backgrounds that are historically underrepresented in biomedical science, including individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, underrepresented cultural and ethnic groups, and individuals with disabilities.
