Rheumatic diseases can be complex disorders and present uniquely in every individual patient. While advances in medical technology never cease to amaze me, I believe listening carefully to a patient’s symptoms remains the most important diagnostic tool. Once a diagnosis is established, I will work hard to explain the condition carefully, offer expected prognosis and discuss treatment options. Any treatment strategy needs to fit an individual patient’s wellness philosophy to be successful.
