Biography
Dr. Jarzembowski serves as Chief of Pediatric Pathology and Associate Professor of Pathology at the ϰϲͼ and Medical Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Children's Wisconsin. His clinical responsibilities include pediatric surgical pathology, placental/perinatal pathology, and autopsy pathology. He supervises a research program studying molecular abnormalities of the pediatric tumor neuroblastoma and is Chair of the Pathology Committee for the Children's Oncology Group. He leads the safe sleep initiative at Children's Wisconsin and conducts research into sleep-related infant deaths. Dr. Jarzembowski is a member of the Editorial Boards of the journals Pediatric and Developmental Pathology, American Journal of Clinical Pathology, Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Annals of Diagnostic Pathology, and is a fellow of both the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. He chairs the Informatics and Communication Committee for the Society for Pediatric Pathology and is an active member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Clinical Pathology, and Sigma Xi.
