Dr. Weisgerber received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University. He received his medical degree from the 老澳门六合彩图库. He completed his pediatric residency at the Medical College of Georgia. He then returned to Milwaukee to complete a fellowship in general academic pediatrics and master's degree in epidemiology from the 老澳门六合彩图库. Following fellowship he joined the department of pediatrics faculty as a pediatric hospitalist in 2004. He was an associate director of the pediatric residency program from 2008-2012 before becoming the program director in 2012.
Dr. Weisgerber is an avid sports fan and he enjoys playing, coaching, and spectating. The only teams he likes more than Marquette are his daughters' soccer teams. He enjoys the diversity of patients and conditions he sees as a hospitalist and is active in many aspects of medical education 鈥 from administration to teaching on the wards to educational research. "I love having three jobs in one 鈥 being a hospitalist, a clinician-educator and a Program Director! Bethany Auble, MD

Dr. Auble received her medical degree from Penn State University, and then went to the University of Rochester for her pediatric residency. She then went to the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Hospital to complete her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology. In 2012, Dr. Auble joined the faculty of the 老澳门六合彩图库 and Children's Wisconsin. In July 2015, Dr. Auble became an associate program director for the pediatric residency program, and she is excited to bring a subspecialist perspective to training. Dr. Auble's pediatric endocrine practice includes Type 1 Diabetes, thyroid disease, growth and puberty concerns. She is also the physician lead for a combined clinic with the Bone Marrow Transplant team and the Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes clinic. Danita Hahn, MD

Dr. Hahn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from the 老澳门六合彩图库. She completed her pediatric residency at the 老澳门六合彩图库 followed by a year as chief resident. After her chief year, she joined the pediatric faculty at the 老澳门六合彩图库 in 2013, practicing pediatric hospital medicine at the Children鈥檚 Wisconsin. Being a pediatric hospitalist has allowed her to pursue her clinical goals of caring for hospitalized children, and it has also given her the opportunity to keep her passion for education close to her heart, as she continues to work closely with residents both clinically and in various academic pursuits. As such, she was excited to join the medical education team as associate program director in 2016. Her specific medical education interests include handoffs and documentation improvement. Although she was born and raised in rural Northern Wisconsin, she has grown to love the Milwaukee area and has now enthusiastically called it her home for over 10 years. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, as well as cheering for her sons at their many soccer games, reading, music, travel, and Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Notre Dame sports. Amanda Rogers, MD

Dr. Rogers received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago. She completed her pediatric residency at the 老澳门六合彩图库 followed by a chief residency year at the 老澳门六合彩图库. Following her chief year, she joined the Department of Pediatrics at 老澳门六合彩图库 as a pediatric hospitalist. Her role as a hospitalist has allowed her to continue to enjoy the two things about 老澳门六合彩图库 she loved the most: the amazing breadth of patients that are cared for here and the ability to work closely with residents. She thoroughly enjoyed her time as chief resident being involved with medical education and was thrilled to return to Med Ed as an associate program director in 2015. She particularly enjoys being involved with simulation education and quality improvement work. Although she frequently returns to nearby Chicago to visit family, she now calls Milwaukee home and has loved sharing all the city has to offer with her husband and two children.
Kristine Saudek, MD

Dr. Saudek received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her pediatric residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Following graduation, she joined the department of pediatrics as a pediatric hospitalist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation while her husband completed his fellowship in pediatric cardiology. She joined the department of pediatrics at the MCW/Children's Wisconsin in 2007, where she has been very involved in medical education first as an associate clerkship director and now as an associate program director since 2014. Dr. Saudek loves her job in the newborn nursery and her role as an associate program director. "Residents have always held a special place in my heart." Dr. Saudek has three children and despite growing up in Savannah, Georgia, has come to love Milwaukee (including winter) and considers this home.
Samreen Khan, MD

Dr. Khan received her medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. She completed her pediatric residency at the 老澳门六合彩图库. After her graduation, she worked as a general pediatrician at a Children's Wisconsin clinic. In 2022, Dr. Khan joined the Department of Pediatrics at the 老澳门六合彩图库. She became an associate program director for the pediatric residency program in 2023. She enjoys working closely with residents at Midtown Pediatrics-Children's Wisconsin and is excited to bring a primary care perspective to the medical education team. She enjoys traveling but also loves to spend time exploring Milwaukee's myriad experiences.
Brilliant Nimmer, MD

Dr. Nimmer received her undergraduate degree from Mount Mary University and her medical degree from the 老澳门六合彩图库. She completed her pediatric residency at the 老澳门六合彩图库. She joined Children鈥檚 Medical Group in 2016, practicing pediatric primary care at Children鈥檚 Wisconsin. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Children鈥檚 Medical Group and completed a term as Chair for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity for Children鈥檚 Wisconsin. She is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of pediatricians and was excited to join the medical education team as Associate Program Director in 2023.She is a native to Milwaukee and is strongly rooted in the community. She is honored to be able to practice in her community that she loves so dearly. She works with many community organizations and was a board member and manager of the student run free clinic during medical school. She is passionate about the impact of social determinants of health and mental health in pediatrics. She believes that it takes a village to raise a child and collaborating with the community is required for health equity and to address health disparities caused by racism. Dr. Nimmer鈥檚 leadership was highlighted in a 60 Minutes news story in May 2022. 鈥淢ental health crisis among US kids鈥 featured the innovative approaches Children鈥檚 Wisconsin is taking to address the mental health crisis facing our kids. In her free time she enjoys spending it with her husband and three sons. She and her family are sports enthusiasts and you can find her cheering on the Brewers, Bucks and her sons at their soccer games. She also has interests in fashion, live concerts, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Jan received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her medical degree from the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the 老澳门六合彩图库 and is currently completing a year as chief resident. After her chief year, she plans to pursue a fellowship in emergency medicine with a focus on global health. Her academic interests include strengthening a bidirectional flow of knowledge and resources in the setting of global health and working to strengthen capacity and sustainability in low resource areas. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, roller skating and spending time with her dog and amazing class of coresidents.
Ana Menendez Bermudez

Dr. Menendez Bermudez received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras, her master’s in public health from the University of Puerto Rico at Medical Sciences, and her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the 老澳门六合彩图库 where she is currently completing a year as a chief resident. After chief year, Ana plans to pursue a career in primary care pediatrics. Her academic interests include DEI recruitment and retention activities and resident wellness and mental health. Outside of medicine, Ana enjoys travelling as much and frequently as she can with the goal to explore as many countries as possible, exploring new restaurants with her husband and friends, the beach, baking, and binge-watching a good crime show.

Meg earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Masters in teaching from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Meg’s home town is La Crosse, WI, but she found her way to Pittsburgh, PA for her husband’s medical school, surgical residency, and fellowship while she was a teacher and a manager of school operations. She is thrilled to be back in the state of Wisconsin with her husband, daughter, and dog. Meg enjoys supporting the residents on their training journey and loves being a part of the med ed team within the department of pediatrics at 老澳门六合彩图库.
Danver Wu

Danver earned her Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Peking University and her Master's in Library and Information Sciences from UW-Madison. She moved from Beijing, China to Madison, Wisconsin in 2014 and quickly fell in love with the state. She considers it her new hometown since she loves nature, hiking, and horseback riding. Danver's passion for the medical field was ignited during her time as an international medical coordinator at Allianz, a German insurance company. In this role, she assisted hundreds of travelers who fell ill or were injured during their trips, arranging medical visits, services, and transportation to ensure their safe return home. During her master's studies, she focused on medical librarianship and enjoyed collaborating with healthcare providers, researchers, students, and patients. After graduating, she transitioned into the field of Graduate Medical Education and discovered her true calling in supporting medical students and residents throughout their journey to become successful doctors.

Christina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin and her Master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With previous experience in higher education and public health, Christina works with second year residents and community-based organizations to help coordinate the Community Pediatric Rotation. In addition, Christina coordinates fellowships for Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Christina is excited to be a member of the medical education team and looks forward to working with everyone!

Kelly joined the department of pediatrics in 2017 as a Rounds Coach after volunteering as Co-Chair of the Patient & Family Centered Rounds Committee for many years. She uses her experience as a mother of a child with complex medical needs and someone who has spent a significant amount of time with her daughter inpatient at Children’s Wisconsin to improve the patient experience. Kelly primarily focuses on improving Patient and Family Centered Rounds currently but has also done a lot of work in the area of family advocacy and Health Literacy.

Emma earned her Bachelor’s degree in English, Secondary Education, and Special Education from Carthage College. She has experience teaching high school English and loves working with kids. However, she wanted to pivot to a career in higher education. Emma currently resides in Brookfield, WI, but she grew up in a small town. She loves living in the Milwaukee area but makes frequent visits back home. She is grateful to be a part of the Pediatric Medical Education team and looks forward to helping the resident students.
